With open friendship to share,
We arrived in this majestic city,
Intent on our common cause, proud of our game.
Greeted by the utter warmth of humanity,
This heroic community wrapped their arms around us.
Mutual respect needed little translation.
A double-kiss and a broad smile,
The language of fellowship and solidarity.
Kindness was everywhere.
We arrived as visitors, we left as welcomed citizens
Of this proud, noble, life-affirming alliance — ASPARBI.
Beyond the kick of a ball — with honour — remember them.
